Vivian Girls bassist Katy Goodman is getting ready to release her second album with La Sera, Sees the Light. La Sera’s self-titled LP was a slow grower for me, but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it & if their latest track “Please Be My Third Eye” is a hint at what Sees the Light is going to sound like, then I’m totally on board. The track is a departure from the dreamy slow songs that peppered La Sera’s debut LP — I’m a fan of this slighty more direct, aggressive sound and am really looking forward to hearing the full album when it’s released this March.
