Delta Queen Records

Katie and Allison Crutchfield of P.S. Eliot and Bad Banana recently announced that they’re starting their own label! (You know, because they’re not already busy enough with their multiple musical projects.) The first release on Delta Queen Records will be the debut full-length release from Waxahatchee, Katie’s solo project. Waxahatchee’s American Dream has a tentative release date of June, 2011.

In the meantime, you can keep up with Delta Queen Records on their tumblr and you can purchase the Waxahatchee demo, a split cassette with Chris Clavin, from Plan-it-X.

The Crutchfield sisters have been killing it lately. The new P.S. Eliot record is amazing (review forthcoming — it’s in my drafts folder!), so I can’t wait to hear what great things they bring to light with Delta Queen.
